Please read these terms carefully before booking a cab with Teravista Getways

By making a booking with Teravista Getways – whether by phone call, WhatsApp message, or online form – you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with the booking.

1. About Us

Teravista Getways is a cab and taxi service operating in the Andaman Islands, providing chauffeur-driven transportation services for tourists, residents, and businesses across Port Blair, Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep), Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep), and surrounding areas.

2. Booking a Cab

2.1 How to Book

Bookings can be made by calling or messaging us on WhatsApp at +91 70639 67041. All bookings are subject to vehicle availability at the time of confirmation.

2.2 Booking Confirmation

Your booking is confirmed only when you receive an explicit confirmation from us via call or WhatsApp message. An enquiry alone does not constitute a confirmed booking.

We strongly recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance, especially during peak tourist season (November to April). For airport and jetty transfers, booking at least 4 hours in advance is required. Last-minute bookings are subject to availability.

3. Fares and Payments

Fares are quoted at the time of booking and are fixed for the agreed route and vehicle. Our pricing is transparent — no hidden charges or surge pricing.

Payment is typically collected at the end of the trip. For advance bookings involving a deposit, the deposit amount and method will be confirmed at the time of booking.

3.5 Fare Changes

Once a fare is confirmed, it will not be changed unless there is a material change in the booking details (e.g., additional stops, significant route changes, or a different vehicle requirement). Any changes will be communicated and agreed with you before the trip.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

We reserve the right to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, vehicle breakdown, government restrictions). In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide a full refund of any advance paid.

5. Passenger Conduct

5.1 Conduct Standards

Passengers are expected to behave in a respectful and lawful manner towards our drivers and vehicles. We reserve the right to terminate a trip without refund if a passenger:

Passengers will be held responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle during the trip due to their negligence or misconduct. The cost of repair or cleaning may be charged to the passenger.

All passengers must wear seatbelts where available and comply with all traffic laws applicable in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Please follow driver instructions regarding safety.

5.4 Prohibited Items

Passengers must not carry prohibited or illegal items, including but not limited to: illegal drugs, unlicensed firearms, or any items banned under Indian law or Andaman customs regulations.

In case of significant delays, we will keep you informed. We are not liable for any consequential losses arising from delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.

Airport and Jetty Transfers: Please share your flight/ferry details so we can track arrivals and adjust pickup times accordingly. Our drivers will wait up to 30 minutes after the scheduled arrival time.

We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these terms if such failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, cyclones, government orders, pandemics, port closures, or internet/communication outages. If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us immediately:

We aim to resolve all complaints within 48 hours. If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and governed by the laws of India.

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be published on this page with the updated date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
